CONTENT GUIDELINES
Last Updated: July 1, 2026
FanFix.io (“FanFix”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) empowers Creators to offer exclusive content, grow recurring revenue, and strengthen relationships with their Fans.
At FanFix, we strive to maintain a safe, respectful, and brand-friendly environment for creators and fans to engage together. All Creators and Fans (each a “User”, “you”, or “your”, and collectively, the “Users”) are expected to comply with these “Content Guidelines” (“Guidelines”) and FanFix’s Terms of Service. Help us foster this community by following our Terms of Service and these Guidelines.
FanFix may change the Guidelines at any time. Users are responsible for checking the Guidelines posted online, including the “Last Updated” date, to ensure that their Content and activity on FanFix comply with the then-current Guidelines.
What do these words mean?
- What is “Content”? Content means anything a Creator, or someone working for a Creator, uploads, shares, streams, messages, sells, or otherwise makes available through FanFix. This includes things such as videos, photos, audio, livestreams, text, images, interactive features, digital assets, outputs, communications, experiences, and other creative works.
- Who is a “Creator”? A Creator is the person, account, digital character, avatar, virtual influencer, or a FanFix account holder behind the Content that Fans see, follow, buy, or interact with on FanFix. A Creator can be a real person or a “Digital Persona,” including AI-generated or AI-assisted characters and virtual influencers.
- What is a “Digital Persona”? A Digital Persona is a digital character, avatar, or virtual influencer whose look, voice, or identity is created in whole or in part using AI, machine learning, or similar technology. A Digital Persona may be managed or controlled by an agency or by a Creator represented by an agency.
- Who is a “Fan”? A Fan is anyone who signs up for, visits, or uses FanFix to watch, follow, message, subscribe to, buy, or otherwise interact with Content or a Creator.
Guidelines:
- Follow the law. This is serious stuff so we put it in the front.
Creators are responsible for making sure their Content (including those created or generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence or other emerging technologies), promotions, endorsements, ads, paid partnerships, Digital Personas, and other activity on FanFix follow the laws, rules, disclosures, labels, consent, privacy, age-check, safety, and recordkeeping requirements, where applicable, or that FanFix reasonably asks them to follow. This may include the FTC ad disclosure rules, SEC rules for investment or crypto promotions, child or teen privacy and online-safety rules, restrictions against deepfake AI and related takedown rules, as well as performer-union rules if they apply to you.
In plain text, be honest, clearly state when something is paid, gifted, sponsored, or is a sponsored advertisement, do not make claims you cannot back up, use appropriate Content labeling, ensure consent, notice, disclosure, transparency, age checks, safety controls, and maintain record retention, as reasonably required by FanFix or as required to comply with applicable laws.
Any Content that exploits, targets, or puts individuals under 18 years old (“Minor”) or those who may need extra care or protection because of age, disability, any developmental, neurological, cognitive, or mental health conditions, dependence on others, or risk of being pressured or exploited (“Vulnerable Individuals”) is strictly prohibited. Content designed for individuals over 18 years old, and other sensitive, mature, or limited audiences must comply with age checks, labeling requirements, consent rules, privacy rules, and safety controls before it is posted or shared.
Finally, FanFix is not a place to support, praise, or promote terrorism, organized crime, hate groups, or other illegal activities. Offering sexual services, buying, selling, trading, or promoting firearms, alcohol, tobacco products, non-medical drugs, endangered species, or human remains is not allowed. FanFix also prohibits Content that tries to trade, donate, gift, ask for, coordinate, or promote the use of non-medical drugs, except in recovery-related contexts. FanFix also prohibits coordinating poaching or the sale of live animals (including endangered species or their parts) between private individuals. Accounts promoting online gambling, online real-money games of skill, or online lotteries must get our prior written permission before using any of our products.
- Zero Tolerance for posting Harmful or Prohibited Content.
- Do not post Content that promotes illegal activities, including counterfeit goods or materials for faking drug tests.
- Do not post Content that promotes using endangered or threatened animal species, such as ivory, or human remains.
- Do not impersonate other individuals or spread misleading information through deep-fake tools, voice-cloning software, or similar AI-enabled technologies, especially in ways that target, pressure, confuse, or exploit Minors or Vulnerable Individuals.
- Do not post Content that depicts, simulates, targets, exploits, or facilitate interactions with Minor or Vulnerable Individuals as prohibited by laws, including Content depict sexually explicit, pornographic, or depicts nudity or sexual conduct involving Minors (or any Digital Persona depicted or marketed as a Minor), or otherwise constitutes materials harmful to Minors or Vulnerable Individuals.
- Do not share or post sensitive personal data or proprietary information.
- Do not attempt to work around safety controls for Content that FanFix does not allow or Content meant for mature, sensitive, adult, or limited audiences.
Creators, external agencies managing Creators’ FanFix accounts, and their representatives may be permanently blacklisted for posting especially harmful or prohibited Content, including Content or interactions that target, shame, sexualize, exploit, or pressure Minors, Vulnerable Individuals, or people who may be in a sensitive situation.
- Share only photos and videos that you have taken or have the right to share.
As always, you own the Content you post on FanFix. Do not post anything you’ve copied or collected from the Internet that you don’t have the right to post.
- Foster meaningful and genuine interactions.
Help us stay spam-free by not artificially collecting Fans, inflating followers or engagement, posting repetitive Content (including comments), or repeatedly contacting people for commercial purposes without their consent.
- Don’t offer money, prizes, giveaways, or other incentives in exchange for Fans, comments, reviews, ratings, or other engagement.
- Don’t post, promote, offer, solicit, or trade fake or misleading users, reviews, ratings, or engagement.
- Don’t use AI Content or related interactions to bait, pressure, target, or exploit Fans. You don’t have to use your real name on FanFix, but we do require FanFix users to provide us with accurate and up to date information.
- Don’t impersonate others or create accounts for the purpose of violating our Guidelines or misleading others.
- Respect other members of the FanFix community.
We want to foster a positive and diverse community.
No Content containing credible threats or hate speech, targets private individuals for the purpose of degrading or shaming them, shares personal information to blackmail or harass someone, or includes repeated unwanted messages is permissible on FanFix.
We generally allow more robust discussion concerning people who are featured in the news or have a large public audience due to their profession or chosen activities. However, it is never acceptable to encourage violence or attack anyone based on race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disability, or disease. Where certain statement is shared to challenge hate speech or raise awareness, we ask that you express your intent clearly and not incite violence or hatred.
Do NOT spread threats of harm to public or personal safety, including specific threats of physical harm and threats of theft, vandalism, or other financial harm. We carefully review reports of threats and consider multiple factors when deciding whether a threat is credible.
- Maintain our supportive environment around mental health, and vulnerable people..
The FanFix community cares for each other and is often a place where people facing difficult issues such as mental health, eating disorders, cutting, or other kinds of self-injury come together to create awareness or find support. Content intended to raise awareness, share experiences, or seek support may be permitted when it is safe, respectful, and clearly support-focused. FanFix does not allow Content that encourages, promotes, glorifies, or normalizes self-injury, targets people because they are struggling, or could reasonably exploit, pressure, manipulate, shame, sexualize, or cause harm to Minors or anyone dealing with mental health challenges, disability, dependence on others, or another sensitive situation. If Content involves self-injury, mental health, Minors, or Vulnerable Individuals, keep it support-focused and avoid anything sexualized, exploitative, mocking, instructional, triggering, pressuring, or manipulative.
- Be thoughtful when posting newsworthy events.
We understand that many people use FanFix to share important and newsworthy events. Some of these issues can involve graphic Content. Because so many different people and age groups use FanFix, we may remove Content depicting intense or graphic violence to make sure FanFix stays appropriate for everyone. We understand that people often share certain Content to condemn, raise awareness, or educate, and encourage you to include in your Content a clear warning about graphic material when sharing it for those purposes. Sharing graphic images for sadistic pleasure, exploitative purposes, or to glorify violence is never allowed.
- AI- Content Standards and Labeling Requirements
At FanFix, we celebrate originality and creative uses of digital tools, including AI. As a real person, you are always welcome to create your original Content or use tools for light proofreading, touch-ups, or enhancements.
- What do these words mean?
- “Authentic Content” means Content that is all, or mostly, your own original work. You may still use AI for light help, like fixing typos, tightening wording, smoothing a dark spot, slightly evening skin tone, improving lighting, or cleaning up an edit, as long as the AI does not materially change your identity, body, voice, performance, or what actually happened. For example, using an AI filter while you are actually singing in your own voice, training your dog, or showing a real hack may be Authentic Content if the filter only makes minor cosmetic or lighting edits. Whereas, Authentic Content does not include Content using AI that materially changes who the subjects appear to be, what they appear to say or do, or whether a person, place, or event appears real. For example, a powerful AI filter that changes a person’s apparent identity or gender presentation is AI-Augmented Content, not Authentic Content.
- “AI-Augmented Content” means you made the main idea or Content, but used AI to help create, rewrite, edit, remix, or materially change it. Examples include AI-assisted captions, filters, backgrounds, audio, social posts, altered footage of a real event or location, a lifelike scene that did not actually happen, or a real person appearing to be someone else, have a different identity or gender presentation, or say or do something they did not say or do.
- “AI-Generated Content” means Content that is made entirely or mostly by AI, with little or no original human-created material. Examples include asking an AI tool to create an image, video, voice, character, caption, script, message, chatbot response, research summary, or other Content, especially where you did not carefully review, fact-check, or meaningfully change the AI output before posting or sending it.
- What Creators and/or their Agent Should Present their AI Content?
- All AI-Generated Content and AI-Augmented Content, including any Content created by, for, through, connected to, or posted by a Digital Persona, is collectively called “AI Content” and must be clearly labeled so Users can easily tell when AI was used. Profiles associated with AI-created personas must display a clear and conspicuous disclosure. For purposes of illustration, you may include one of the following labels depending on the Content you display or distribute through FanFix:
- Use “AI Info”, “Generated or Augmented with AI”, “AI enhanced Content,” or “Altered or Synthetic Content” in the bottom corner of the image or videos;
- Add a transparency watermark overlay at the beginning or end of a clip;
- Place a disclaimer immediately before or after the text (e.g., generated with the assistance of AI);
- Disclosure in the Digital Persona’s profile description and in promotional materials or advertisements for the Digital Persona that Content may include Altered or Synthetic Content;
- For any direct message conversation initiated by a chatbot representing a Creator, the opening message must clearly disclose the nature of the interaction, such as: “I am a virtual assistant of [Creator], here to help fans like you stay digitally connected 24/7.”
- Content Restrictions: Creator, external agency managing such Creators’ FanFix accounts, or anyone acting for them shall
- not create, post, or share Content that FanFix expressly prohibits, including Content that depicts, simulates, or implies that Content can depict, simulate or imply that any person shown is under 18 years old; use the likeness of a real person without that person’s written consent; mislead Users about the nature of the Content or the identity of the Creator; or infringe any intellectual property rights. FanFix also prohibits misleading or deceptive practices regarding whether Users are interacting with a human being or an AI-generated persona, including any suggestion that an Digital Persona or chatbot is a real person
- be responsible for ensuring that AI Content complies with these Guidelines and applicable laws.
- not suggest, represent, or imply to any User that an Digital Persona is a real human being or that a chatbot interaction is not AI-generated.
- implement internal compliance procedures and/or safeguards to comply with applicable laws and FanFix policies, including applicable age-verification, age-gating, consent, release, labeling, recordkeeping, privacy, consumer-protection, deepfake, AI-generated content, and adult-content compliance requirements, and actively cooperate with FanFix’s monitoring and enforcement actions.
- Each external agency managing Content on behalf of Creators shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FanFix, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from and against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or relating to any violation of applicable laws, regulations, or Guidelines, including requirements on endorsements, deceptive advertising, and AI disclosure. This obligation survives termination of the applicable agency agreement.
Help us keep the community strong:
- Each of us is an important part of the FanFix community. If you see something that you think may violate our Guidelines, please report this to us at hello@fanfix.io. We have a team that reviews these reports and works as quickly as possible to determine whether the reported Content violates these Guidelines. Reports may be submitted by any individual, regardless of whether the individual maintains an active FanFix account. When you complete the report, try to provide as much information as possible, such as links, usernames, and descriptions of the Content, so we can find and review it quickly.
- We may enforce them in one or more ways, including by removing, limiting, labeling, disabling, or requiring changes to Content; restricting, suspending, or terminating account access or activity; suspending, withholding, or stopping payments; and pursuing any other remedies available under our Terms of Service or applicable law. Safety-specific consequences that add separate substance, such as permanent blacklisting for especially harmful or prohibited Content and quarantine or reporting for Minor-safety flags, are described in the relevant sections above.
- You may find Content that you don’t like, but that doesn’t violate our Guidelines. Nothing in these Guidelines requires you to view or engage with Content posted by other Users. If you encounter objectionable Content that does not violate these Guidelines, you may use available platform controls, including unsubscribing to the creator, blocking the person who posted it, or deleting comments on your own posts.
- Many disputes and misunderstandings can be resolved directly between members of the community. If one of your photos or videos was posted by someone else, you may try commenting on the post and asking the person to take it down. If that doesn’t work, you can file a copyright report. If you believe someone is violating your trademark, you can file a trademark report. Don’t target the person who posted it by posting screenshots or otherwise drawing attention to the situation because that may be classified as harassment.
- FanFix may use automated software tools to screen direct messages sent from Digital Personas’ accounts and images uploaded or generated for Digital Personas for any Content that may depict or suggest the involvement of Minors. This screening may include image analysis, keyword and phrase monitoring, and pattern-recognition systems designed to identify attempts to circumvent safeguards. Content flagged by automated systems may be quarantined pending human review, and confirmed Minor-safety violations may be reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and appropriate law enforcement authorities.
- We reserve the right to cooperate with law enforcement, including when we reasonably believe that there’s a risk of physical harm to any individual or a threat to public safety.
